These six ladies running across an ancient cave wall may be running with the pure joy of being alive or maybe from an ancient cougar! They may be the original spotted horses, with short but tough hooves and tails with a certain shortage of hair. I imagined as I painted these beauties that we are related as humans in the past and present, with our love of our four legged friends and the spirals symbolizing the connectivity of earth and animal.
