Black Pony Sun Shield with Turtles

The sun shield was used as a protection totem, and in this painting the there is a black horse in the center.  The horse is a symbol of creativity and freedom, and the turtles are totems of our connection with Mother Earth.  This is a good piece for positive energy where ever it hangs on the wall.

These prints are torn and wrinkled by hand to make them look like they could be originals, and also because that just looks cool.  They come mounted on black foam board and you can use a technique called "floating" when you frame it. The print is approximately 8 x 9.25 inches. Foam board is 10 x 11.25 inches.  Comes with an explanation sheet of totem animals and their meanings.
