I went into a metallic painting craze, and this was one of the pieces I did. I used a warm gold, and the red was Ralph Lauren metallic paint in a delicious earthy red. I had to mix the gold paint with ink instead of dark paint to maintain that bit of shimmer. This is an Araby little horse with wonderfully flowing mane.
The print is 8 x 11, paper 9 x 12 inches. Printed on a nice heavy acid free cardstock with Epson inks.
