Hide Painting-Caribou Hide with Warriors

This caribou/reindeer hide painting is very traditional with a sun bonnet shield and horse, eagle, bear and turtle totems in the four directions. There is a small bear eating late season blackberries here on the farm and napping under a cedar tree. Haven't seen him but saw the droppings. So glad I put his totem on this hide. The hide painting is done using ink and acrylic washes. It has fur on the back side and is 44 x 38 inches. This hide is ready for a new home!
