This original was bought as a present for my son's beloved when she was a teenager. It is the Celtic horse goddess Epona, and the mane of the horse and her hair meld into each other. If you love horses, you know this is symbolic of how we want to become one with our horse. I love this piece because it uses the triskele, or three circles which has been said to represent land, the sea and the sky, which is Celtic, and the sun bonnet shield, which is a Plains Indian pictograph. I used symbology from cultures across an ocean. We are all one people!
Each card is invitation size, and comes in a three pack with envelopes and protected with a clear sleeve. You can order the matching print here, and the matching necklace here.
